Preparation and Cooking Instructions:
Rinse the beans and soak them in cold water for 8-12 hours. Discard the water and rinse again. In a large pot, cover with plenty of fresh cold water, bring to a boil, and cook over medium heat for about 60 minutes. In a pressure cooker, 20 minutes starting from the whistle are sufficient. Salt should be added at the end of cooking.
