Licorice is a plant known since the times of the ancient Greeks and Eastern civilizations for its multiple properties. The liquorice root (Glycryrhiza Glabra) is present in all pharmacopoeia and herbal medicine manuals, as the main ingredient in medicines such as emollient, expectorant, digestive tonic.

Tasting notes
Dark brown in colour. Persistent aromas of pure liquorice root on the nose. Intense flavor with slightly bitter notes given by the root and earthy flavors that sweeten on the finish.

Our advice
Excellent digestive after a meal, with an incredible taste and able to seduce and make the palate fall in love. Ideal served cold or with ice, neat or diluted with tonic water or ginger beer to obtain a tasty long drink garnished with lemon peel, with hints to discover sip after sip.
