Close cousins of chiacchiere and struffoli, they are delicious and soft fritters made with a unique and genuine dough made of flour, sugar, eggs, and butter. Once fried, the magic happens… they are coated in granulated sugar! How many did you eat as a child? Over time, the recipe has undergone various variations, all delicious! Today, Panificio Rescigno offers you Rum and Vanilla Castagnole: a true delicacy! A little curiosity: the dough for Castagnole, despite the name, does not contain chestnuts or chestnut flour. The name is due to the fact that the ideal size, to cook perfectly, should not exceed that of a walnut!
