PREPARATION
- Blend the block of almond or pistachio paste in a bowl with 750 ml of water.
- Place 2/3 of the mixture obtained in the freezer (700ml of mixture) and place the remaining part of the mixture (300ml) in the refrigerator at a temperature of +4 degrees.
- After 6 hours, take the mixture out of the freezer and blend it with the liquid part kept in the fridge.
- All you have to do is enjoy the real traditional Sicilian breakfast, with a unique and intense flavour.
- Garnish with whipped cream
In an instant, closing your eyes, you will be like in your favorite bar in Sicily, but from the comfort of your own home.
If you have any granita leftover, just place it in the freezer for up to a month. To regenerate the mixture, simply blend it until you obtain the ideal consistency for consumption.
STORAGE
After preparation, store in the freezer for up to a month.
INGREDIENTS
Brioche: Type 0 and 00 soft wheat flour, water. lard, sugar, glucose and fructose syrup, stabilizer: sorbitol, emulsifiers: mono and diglycerides of acids. fat, fresh egg yolk, olive oil, salt, whole milk powder, natural yeast, flavourings, turmeric.
Almond paste block: whole toasted almonds,  granulated sugar, glucose, sugar icing, dextrose, invert sugar and almond flavouring.
