La Molisana: wheat pasta 100 %
italian since 1912

Secular tradition, only Italian wheat and compostable packaging for an authentic and sustainable experience.

Tradition, quality and innovation in Italian pasta

The Company is an Italian excellence founded in 1912 in Campobasso, in the heart of Molise, thanks to the vision and experience of the Ferro family. The pasta factory began as a small artisanal business and quickly evolved into a national benchmark for the production of high-quality pasta. Always deeply connected to its territory, it has built an identity based on values such as tenacity, transparency, and respect for the Italian milling tradition.

Over the years, the company has made the integrated supply chain its main strength: from wheat to table, every stage of the production process is managed internally. This approach ensures the highest quality of the pasta, made with 100% Italian wheat selected through precision farming practices and milled directly in the mill adjacent to the production plant. This is complemented by bronze drawing, which gives the pasta a rough surface, ideal for holding sauces.

After a period of crisis that culminated in bankruptcy in 2004, the brand was relaunched in 2011 by the same founding family. This rebirth marked a turning point in the company’s history, with significant investments in innovation, sustainability, and industrial development. The company has invested over 42 million euros to modernize its plant, implement automated technologies, and develop compostable packaging, minimizing its environmental impact.

Over time, the pasta has become synonymous with premium quality, appreciated both in Italy and abroad. With rapidly growing revenues, the company reached over 300 million euros in 2023, positioning itself among the leading players in the sector and expanding its presence to more than 80 countries. Among its iconic pasta shapes are the square spaghetti, Trighetto, Cubetto, and Quadrotto — symbols of the brand’s ability to innovate while staying true to tradition.

Today, it represents the perfect balance between craftsmanship and modernity. Its commitment to consumer well-being, the exclusive use of Italian raw materials, respect for the environment, and continuous pursuit of excellence make this brand a true ambassador of pasta around the world.

It offers a wide range of pasta shapes that combine tradition, innovation, and premium quality. Each product is made from 100% Italian wheat, processed within a fully integrated supply chain that ensures total control from semolina to table. Bronze drawing, slow drying, and a high protein content make the pasta unmistakable for its firmness and flavor.

Among the most popular shapes are the Rigatoni 31, a symbol of rustic and versatile short pasta. Their deep ridges and thick structure make them perfect for capturing rich and hearty sauces such as meat ragù or vegetable-based sauces.

The Spaghetti 15 represent the essence of Italian tradition. Thin, elastic, and perfectly firm when cooked, these spaghetti are an excellent choice for classic recipes such as cacio e pepe, amatriciana, or simply garlic, oil, and chili pepper.

Among the most original creations, the Quadrotto Special 88 is an innovative shape designed to offer distinctive texture and form. With its wide surface and firm thickness, it is ideal for rustic soups, hearty stews, and gourmet dishes that highlight its ability to hold sauces.

Finally, the Rigacuore is a heart-shaped pasta that embodies all the creativity and connection with consumers that have always distinguished the brand. Born from a community idea, it was awarded the 2024 Brands Award for its unique design and versatility in the kitchen.

Alongside these iconic shapes, the company also offers special lines such as whole wheat pasta with high fiber content, the wellness line made with alternative flours, and gluten-free pasta — all designed for a balanced diet without compromising on taste.

Thanks to an environmentally conscious approach, it uses FSC-certified compostable packaging and trigeneration plants capable of covering up to 90% of the factory’s energy needs.
