History: from the artisan workshop of 1922 to iconic desserts such as pandoro, croissants and snacks

The company is one of the most beloved and recognizable brands in the Italian confectionery scene, synonymous with quality, craftsmanship, and Italian tradition since 1922. Founded in Verona by Azzeglio Bauli, the historic company took its first steps with a deep passion for pastry and for Italian baked goods.

Still today, every product represents the perfect union between innovation and respect for the original recipes. From the production of the famous Pandoro, a symbol of the Italian Christmas, to the Easter Colombe and the much-loved snacks such as Croissants and Moonfils, the brand has stood out for the excellence of its ingredients and the artisanal care in every stage of the production process. Each product embodies the essence of Italian sweetness and has accompanied Italian families’ most special moments for generations.

An anecdote that tells the pioneering spirit of the brand: before founding the company in Italy, Azzeglio emigrated to South America, bringing with him his passion for pastry. After years of hardships, he returned to Verona with just one oven and a clear idea: to create pastries capable of telling the story of Italy. That’s how the first Pandoro was born, the result of courage, dedication, and vision.

Today it is an international icon that continues to innovate, also offering products for food intolerances, light versions, and increasingly sustainable packaging.
