Blondes
Let’s start right away with the classics: blonde beers. Light and pleasant, they’re ideal for long meals with friends. Thanks to their low alcohol content, you can easily enjoy more than one. Among these, we find the classic Peroni, a lager with a balanced and slightly bitter taste. It’s perfect paired with pizza and great for relaxing moments and lots of laughs with the people you love. Keep it in the fridge and open it casually whenever you like.
Another blonde is Nastro Azzurro, the most consumed Italian premium pilsner abroad. With its delicate bitter notes, it’s ideal served very cold to fully enjoy its refreshing effect. Accompanied by some snacks, you can drink it with friends for hilarious and fun moments. Among bottom-fermented beers, there’s another great classic: Moretti Ricetta Originale. With its floral notes, it’s perfect for a nostalgic get-together with your loved ones. A pale yellow lager that sets the mood for moments spent in good company and togetherness.
Reds
These types of beers show various shades of red and offer a rather refined taste. They’re ideal paired with white meats and grilled sandwiches. Among them, Peroni Gran Riserva Rossa stands out. Its ruby red color immediately warms the atmosphere and helps you experience special moments whenever you like. Its full-bodied taste with caramel notes makes it perfect for delighting your guests with tasty finger food. At a time when bars are closed, serve it at home in tall glasses—it’ll make you feel just like you’re at the pub.
Double Malt
Usually with a rather high alcohol content, double malt beers are known for their full-bodied texture and strong flavor. Red meats and hamburgers, with their bold flavors, are definitely the best pairings.
One of the most loved is certainly Peroni Gran Riserva Doppio Malto, with its intense golden yellow color. A Made in Italy beer brewed with only Italian bronzed malt, making it ideal for an end-of-day drink to relax with its bold and slightly spiced flavor. It’s perfect for long conversations while sitting comfortably on the couch at home.
Unfiltered
This unique category includes beers that haven’t undergone filtration. With their cloudy appearance, they contain whole yeast cells that give them a toasted taste and intense aromas. Some of these have become quite popular in recent years, such as Ichnusa Non Filtrata, made with pure barley malt. This iconic Sardinian beer is ideal with richly flavored dishes, but not only that: it makes your at-home aperitivo special with its moderately sparkling character and fruity aroma. All the passion of Sardinian master brewers in a bottle with a vintage style.
Strong
Let’s move on to beers with a high alcohol content. They should generally be consumed on a full stomach, so it’s best to prepare something to eat beforehand. Among these is, first of all, Tennent’s Extra. Brewed in Scotland, this beer has an alcohol content of 9%, resulting in a bitter aftertaste and a bold spirit that can liven up your evenings.
Another strong beer is Leffe Rituel 9°, top-fermented. With a strong and aromatic character, it pairs perfectly with cured meats and aged cheeses. Our tip is to serve it in glass chalices and pair it with a nice cheese board—your guests will be blown away by this delicious aperitif.
Special
If you’re someone who loves discovering unique flavors, special beers are the ones for you. Characterized by non-traditional tastes, their aromas make them the perfect alcoholic beverage if you want to try something new. Like Peroni Chill Lemon, from the historic Italian brand, with lemon notes to ease the weight of tough days. The refreshing kick of this radler will add a boost of energy to even the heaviest days. Just make sure to serve it cold. If you prefer something sweeter, you can try Desperados. The combination of its full body and tequila aromas gives it an unmistakable taste that’s made it famous worldwide.
