In the distant 1840, in the small Apulian municipality of S.Marzano di S.Giuseppe, the liquorist Giuseppe Borsci perfected the ancient recipe of an Oriental Elixir, inherited from Caucasian ancestors, starting the production of this delightful liqueur. In memory of the time spent by the Borsci family in Albania, he decided to affix on the label, as a trademark, the symbol of the double-headed eagle.
Unique liqueur with an unmistakable aroma, versatile like no other.
Oriental Specialty
It is enjoyed neat as a digestif, in summer it is served with ice and soda or in cocktails. In cold climates, it is ideal for preparing invigorating 'punch'. Exquisite on ice cream, delightful in coffee or milk, excellent in pastry.
