Narrative label
The history of this variety dates back to the early 1900s when Nazareno Strampelli carried out some experimental tests on the fields made available by the Marquis Cappelli, obtaining the so-called 'elite seeds', including the Cappelli.
The entire harvest, under the coordination of our partner Mediterre.bio, is traced and controlled awaiting processing by our partner Molino De Vita. In a green area, far from major communication routes, the mill transforms the wheat into semolina using advanced technologies and low-speed milling cylinders that preserve the grain's qualities as much as possible. Finally, the semolina travels to Trentino where the spring water from the Alps meets the mastery of the Felicetti pasta makers, also partners of Alce Nero, giving life to 100% Italian, organic pasta guaranteed by the Members of the Alce Nero Group.
